Important Things to remember
We don’t add ing to stative verbs.
❔What Are Stative Verbs?
Stative verbs describe a state of mind, feeling, opinion, possession, or sense — not an action.
Because they describe situations that are true, not actions happening right now, we don’t normally use them in the Present Continuous tense.
Stative verbs
Example:
👉Used for things that are in progress at the moment of speaking in meetings, emails, or reports.
👉 Use it in status updates, team chats, and calls to describe what people are currently doing.
👉Used when something is temporary, not permanent — very common in business!
👉 Common in meeting agendas, emails, and business travel plans.
👉 Perfect for presentations, reports, and strategic updates.
